Language Learning & Learning Patterns

Fluent in Spanish, conversational in French, currently building Italian. I approach language acquisition the same way I approach any complex system: look for the underlying architecture first, then treat vocabulary as data that fits into that architecture — not a flat list to memorize.

This section isn’t a diary of that process. It’s a breakdown of the actual patterns, structural connections, and shortcuts that come from treating a language as a system to be reverse-engineered — written the same way the networking and security notes are: for someone else trying to learn the same thing.
